Thomas F. Vannausdle, age 66, of Finesville, New Jersey, passed away February 12, 2011 at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Thomas Frank Vannausdle was born January 12, 1945 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the son of G. Thomas and Clara (Mason) Vannausdle. He lived all of his life in New Jersey and was known as the “Rock Man”. Tom was a self employed stone worker known for not only his mechanical ability but his designs as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Mike and Lottie Mason and Art and Mamie Vannausdle; and uncles: Harry, Bill, and Jack Vannausdle. Survivors include his siblings: Sharon Vanglahn and husband Tom of Neshanic, NJ; Gary Vannausdle of Charlottesville, NC; Bruce Vannausdle of Shelton, WA; Heidi Karzol and husband John of Neshanic, NJ; and Artie Vannausdle of Springfield, MO; aunt: June Swanson Oliver and husband Wayne of Independence, MO; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Emerson, Iowa Cemetery with Rev. Alan Dean officiating. Family and friends will meet at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel at Noon to go to the cemetery in procession.
