Brian Scott Redd, age 39, of Coburg, Iowa, left this world to walk with God and the angels on November 20, 2009. Brian sustained injuries in a fall from a two story roof while he was working in Stanton, Iowa. Brian fought a week long battle before he died at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Brian was born November 17, 1970 in Red Oak, Iowa the son of Gene and Nadine (Cannon) Redd. He was raised in Coburg, Iowa and graduated from Red Oak Community High School in 1989. While in high school Brian started working as a tree trimmer and then after high school he worked road construction. He married his junior high school sweetheart, Tammi Clark, on February 14, 1991 in Red Oak, Iowa and this union was blessed with three “Daddy’s Girls”: Cassandra, Jessica, and Emma. They made their home in Coburg, Iowa. Brian worked for the hog farm in Red Oak in his early work years and later moved to Blairsburg, Iowa for a short time where he managed another hog farm. They moved back to Coburg that same year and Brian went to work for D & L Company which became ROMECH. He worked there for many years and also worked at Eaton Corporation. While working at ROMECH Brian started his own business Reddyflooring and Construction. He also was a bus driver for Red Oak Community Schools from 2002 until the present time. Brian enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting as well as “trying” to play golf. He spent many hours riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, but his greatest joy came from his wife, daughters, and all of his family. He was very kind hearted, loved his work, and was always willing to do projects for his family.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents: Harold Redd and Gentry and Marion Cannon; and father-in-law: Tom Clark. Those left behind to celebrate his memory include his wife, Tammi Redd and their daughters, Cassandra, Jessica, and Emma Redd all of Coburg, Iowa; parents: Gene and Nadine Redd of Coburg, Iowa; brothers: Vayne Redd and wife Anita of Coburg, Iowa and Tim Redd and wife Janet of Red Oak, Iowa; sister: Julieanna Schooling and husband Jody of Coburg, Iowa; grandparents: Doris Redd of Pittsburg, Kansas and Irene Taylor of Glen Bernie, Maryland; mother-in-law: Jeanne Van Fosson and husband Virgil of Red Oak, Iowa; brother-in-law: Tony Clark and wife Jennifer of Stanton, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
