Olin Tull, age 86, of Phoenix, Arizona formerly of the Red Oak, Iowa area passed away Tuesday October 25, 2005 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak. Olin Ervin Tull was born April 7, 1919 in Hatfield, Missouri the son of Roy and Elsie (Pottorff) Tull. Olin was raised in Missouri and was united in marriage to Ruth Resh on October 15, 1937 in Albany, Missouri. To this union were born four daughters. After their marriage they moved to a farm south of Red Oak, Iowa where Olin loved to raise popcorn. In 1952 they moved to Shelton, Nebraska where they farmed and Olin had a disc sharpening business. In 1956 they moved back to Wales, Iowa where they farmed. Olin sold the family farm in 1960 and later went to work for Dr. Bleicher in Council Bluffs at Green Hills Farm, farming and operating heavy equipment. During this time he was united in marriage to Rebecca Spencer Jones on September 8, 1990 in Glenwood, Iowa. Olin and Becky lived in Iowa for six months and Arizona for six months for many years. They were currently full time residents of Arizona. Over the years Olin loved to sing, walk on his hands, play cards and dominos, dancing, traveling, the outdoors, hunting, and in his younger years was a sharpshooter. Olin was a former member of the Red Oak Eagles Lodge and and was a current member of the Paradise Valley Southern Baptist Church.

Olin was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Ennis Tull; and a son-in-law: Roy Sirakis. Survivors include his wife: Rebecca Jones-Tull of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters: Patricia Dinville and husband Gerald of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Karen Smith and husband Dave of Glenwood, Iowa; Donna Sirakis of Phoenix; and Joanna Rudge and husband Jerry of Phoenix; stepson: Gordon Jones of Phoenix; grandchildren: Greg Dinville and wife Lori of Zimmerman, Minnesota; Jyl Dinville of Council Bluffs; Mariruth Gruis and husband Jeff of Gardner, Kansas; Alin Abbott and wife Georgia of Glenwood; Callea Farmer of Glenwood; Belynda Graybill and husband Doug of Omaha, Nebraska; Rick Bauer of Phoenix; Edd Viner and wife Jill of California; Tracy Bauer and wife Kim of Norman, Oklahoma; Christal Vineyard and husband Phil of Glendale, Arizona; Scott Rudge of San Diego, California; and Sheri Willey of Glendale; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 3 sisters: Louise Jones and husband Wally of Red Oak; Dorothy Bowman of Red Oak; and Geraldine Weese and husband Delbert of Albany, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Memorials services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial of the cremated remains will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix or the Paradise Valley Southern Baptist Church in Phoenix.
