Norma Taylor, age 83, of Trenton, Nebraska formerly of Grant, Iowa passed away Thursday, February 17, 2005 at the McCook Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska. Norma Jean Taylor was born August 18, 1921 in Montgomery County, Iowa the daughter of Delbert and Ruby (Goss) Campbell. She was raised, educated and lived the majority of her life in Montgomery County, Iowa. In 1939, Norma was united in marriage to Stanley Taylor in Red Oak, Iowa. Norma worked as a cook at the Grant grade school, bookkeeper fort the C & T Gas Station, and as a grocery store clerk for the Grant Food Market from which she retired. Nancy was a member of the Grant United Methodist Church. Stanley and Norma moved to Trenton, Nebraska in 1994 to be near their daughter, Diane.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one infant sister; her husband: Stanley Taylor on January 19, 2000; her son Garry Taylor; and grandson Matthew Taylor. Survivors include her daughter: Diane Nealeigh and husband Ron of Trenton, Nebraska; 2 granddaughters: Nickie Carlson of Griswold, Iowa and Debbie Pelzer of Grant, Iowa; one grandson: Jason Peterson of Trenton, Nebraska; seven great grandchildren; sister: Thelma Taylor of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.

Memorials services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the Grant United Methodist Church in Grant, Iowa burial will be at a later date in the Grant Cemetery.
