To Rudy's family, I send prayers for comfort in the loss of a wonderful guy. knew Rudy while working at CDS in Red Oak. Always so pleasant to visit with. I have discovered this summer that Rudy & Barb live in the same house we lived in in 1985 for a short time. May Rudy's memories live within your hearts forever.

I met Rudy years ago while working at the academy and had the opportunity to talk regularly over the years. He was a great person to talk with and share a laugh. He will be missed.

I fondly remember Rudy as the best high school basketball player I ever saw. I lost contact with him after he graduated (I was three years younger). It seems he had a great life.

Rudy was more like my brother than my friend. We started our lives together and he will always be a part of me. From playing sports to just hanging outwe were inseparable. He touched many lives and Im forever grateful to have had him in mine. Love ya big guy.

I am so grateful for reconnecting with Rudy during our 50th high school reunion. The memories he provided to us during our high school years at Druid Hills are numerous. His contributions to sports and to the communities in which he lived were yet another example of his strong Christian character and moral integrity. Prayers and blessings to the family and to all who knew and loved Rudy ~~ Though physically gone from this Earth, he will be forever in our hearts.

I became acquainted with Rudy after being elected to the Board of Supervisors in Page County. I didn't know Rudy well, but the boards I served with him on over the last few years have been very enjoyable. You will be missed Rudy. May God's promises give the family comfort at this difficult time.

Sorry for your loss. Rudy and I were friends, and teammates, at Tennessee. Last time I saw him was several years ago at one of our baseball reunions. Great, great person.

What an amazing tribute and autobiography of Rudy. So sorry to hear of his passing, may he Rest In Peace. He was so very pleasant to work with at the YMCA, such a nice man.
