Elden Heuer was the last living Heuer cousin of my father, Adrian Wookey. I talked to Elden on the phone after the death of his son ,Bob, and we both understood how difficult it is to not follow the natural order of
generational death--discussing Adrian's loss of his son, Kenneth, at a young age. Elden's visits to the Good Samaritian Nursing home while my mother, Faye Wookey, was there were filled with family memories. I appreciate Elden's service to our country during WW II. Elden was truly a man of the greatest generation. My condolences to his family.

Family of Elden Heuer. I had met Eldon when he would be in the area for the summers. Back then he had his "Heuer watch." We have kept in touch all these years. Last fall we were able to visit in person! He still had his "Heuer Watch." He loves his evergrowing family. I will miss Eldon .

My most sincere condolences on the death of Elden. And of Robert.
I was on Elden’s call list and we had some wonderful conversations. When I had not heard from him for a bit of course I was concerned. When his cell phone was terminated I was at a loss of resources. Then I learned of your loss of Robert. Tried to call Lois but to no avail. Just today I googled the newspaper and read the obituary for Elden. I feel for you all so deeply. I knew Elden for a long long time. In fact, Lera hosted my wedding shower. I loved her dearly also. She and Dick’s mother, Myrle were great friends. Elden and Carol shall be in my memory bank. May your memories be of comfort to you now and forever. Gypsy Elwood
